Barry Curran Motors Ltd is a family owned retail motor dealership, operating from premises in Douglas.

We are fortunate to hold the island franchises for Hyundai, Subaru and Isuzu and in addition we sell and repair a wide range of quality used vehicles. Our range of products, each complementing the others in terms of specification, price and appeal –  means that we are able to provide one of the widest new vehicle product ranges available on the island. If you are looking to buy a car, we are probably the best placed company on the island to have the right answer – and we believe the nicest with which to do business !

We have in the last few months gone through a major organisational change and now operate our Sales and Aftersales facilities from the one site on Cooil Road, Braddan. We have updated and incorporated the latest technology into our new Service workshops allowing us to look after service and diagnostically and car on the Islands Roads.

Staff

Barry Curran, owner and Managing Director, is very much involved in the day-to-day running of the business, with a belief in providing quality of customer service, and a commitment to developing and maintaining a strong relationship with customers.

Sales Department..

Our Sales team comprises Rob,Julie and Colin. They are likely to be a customer’s first contact with Barry Curran Motors, and are highly experienced in providing a warm, friendly welcome, in building a good customer rapport, understanding their vehicle needs, and in assisting the purchase of a new or used car (for most of us, a major decision, and second only to a house).

We are able to offer the sale and service of new vehicles to Motability qualified customers – those receiving the higher rate mobility component of the disability living allowance. Our qualified consultants are available to answer any questions, and to assist in developing tailor made solution to meet the very specific and personal needs of such customers.

Our valeting operation is headed by Ryan who takes great pride in ensuring every single one of our vehicles is prepared to a standard which we believe is second to none on the island.

After Sales Department..

The key area of After Sales is handled by Richard(Service Manager) and Dave (Parts Manager) with Tom looking after various roles with the Aftersales Dept.  They have many years of experience between them in handling service and parts requirements in a prompt and professional manner - and are keen to build on our reputation for top quality customer care.

Our Service Technicians – Andy, Callum and Carl  are also highly experienced, with a wide, multi-franchised knowledge, backed by specific franchise training and specialist diagnostic equipment and tools where necessary,  In addition, the latest computer technology keeps them up-to-date with all that’s happening in the service industry!
